Which payment methods are available?
SEPA direct debit, credit card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay), PayPal and prepayment by bank transfer.
How long are the contract terms?
You choose the minimum contract term: monthly or 12 months, for most plans also 24 months. With a longer term the price drops by 10% or 20%, and prepayment adds up to 10% on top. As a private customer you cancel with 7 days' notice to the end of the term. After that the contract continues indefinitely. For business customers, 30 days apply and the contract renews for the agreed term.
How do I switch from my current host to hostworld.de?
Simply book the plan you want. Then give us the login details for your old host, and we migrate databases, files and mailboxes free of charge for private customers in every one of our hosting plans. More under Migration Service.
How quickly are my services available?
After receipt of your payment and a short check of your customer details, we provision your booked services as quickly as possible, also on weekends.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
An upgrade is possible at any time. A downgrade is possible as long as your current usage fits into the smaller plan. For servers, we can only offer upgrades for technical reasons, because the disk cannot be shrunk.
Where are the servers located?
In ISO 27001-certified data centers in Germany. This keeps your data protected in line with GDPR requirements.
How do I reach support?
By email, via the Customer Menu, or by phone during our business hours. You talk to fixed contacts, not to an anonymous hotline.
