What can the module do?
Bridge between WHMCS billing and KeyHelp hosting
The KeyHelp WHMCS module closes the gap between your WHMCS system (billing, customer management) and your KeyHelp Control Panel (hosting provisioning). An order in WHMCS automatically triggers the account creation in KeyHelp, including the first domain, the hosting plan and all quotas.
Your customers manage their hosting resources, domains, email accounts, FTP, MySQL databases, SSL certificates, directly in the WHMCS client area. No separate login to the KeyHelp panel needed: 18 self-service actions are available immediately, without page reloads, directly in the client area.
A live synchronization of resources (storage, traffic, account activity) between KeyHelp and WHMCS enables usage-based billing, quota displays and a central overview of all customer accounts including license utilization.

What the module automates in WHMCS
Single sign-on
Direct login to the KeyHelp panel from the WHMCS client area. No additional password, no second login.
Plan changes
Upgrade and downgrade fully automatic, including adjustment of the quotas (storage, traffic, domain and mail limits).
Suspend & unsuspend
In case of non-payment, WHMCS suspends the KeyHelp account automatically. When the payment arrives, it is unsuspended just as automatically.
Live usage sync
Storage and traffic usage are mirrored from KeyHelp into WHMCS, the basis for usage-based billing and quota displays.
Live server status
KeyHelp version, current server load (1/5/15 min) and license utilization visible directly in the WHMCS admin tab.

How to install the module
- 1Upload the module
Extract the ZIP file to `modules/servers/dkeyhelp/`, either via the Plesk/cPanel file manager or via SSH/SFTP.
- 2Activate the license
Enter the license key from our Customer Menu into our module in WHMCS. The license check then runs automatically in the background.
- 3Add the KeyHelp server
Create the server in WHMCS under “System → Servers”, choose Type: Keyhelp, enter the API key, run “Test Connection”.
- 4Link the WHMCS product
In the WHMCS product, select the matching hosting plan from KeyHelp (the dropdown is loaded automatically from the KeyHelp server). Done.

Frequently asked questions about the KeyHelp WHMCS module
What happens after the 14-day trial period ends?
Without an active order, the module is automatically switched to read-only mode after 14 days. Existing accounts continue to run unchanged, new provisioning actions are then no longer possible. No automatic charge, no cancellation required.
Can I raise the account limit later?
Yes, at any time. The limit can be switched to a higher tier or to “unlimited” in the Customer Menu. Pro-rata billing happens automatically.
Does the module work with every KeyHelp version?
The module uses the KeyHelp v2 API. Current KeyHelp versions are supported. The version of your KeyHelp server is displayed live in the WHMCS admin.
Do I get updates free of charge?
Yes, updates are free of charge during the entire contract term and are available for download in the Customer Menu. Distribution variants for PHP 5.6 – 7.4 and PHP 8.1 – 8.3 are maintained in parallel.
Which languages does the module support?
German and English are included by default. Additional languages can be added via the language file pattern (`lang/{locale}.php`).
Does the module offer admin single sign-on?
No. KeyHelp currently supports customer SSO only. Administrators log in directly to the KeyHelp panel. As soon as KeyHelp provides admin SSO, we plan to add it.
How does support work?
Via ticket support in the Customer Menu or by phone during our service hours. For installation and configuration questions, we recommend the optional installation service as one-time assistance.
