How do credits work?
Credits are the balance in your builder. Every time you ask the AI for something, for example to create a new website or revise content, credits are used.
Each request to the AI costs 50 credits. For each image the AI creates automatically, 8 credits are added. A complete new website costs about 100 credits on average.
Adjusting text and images yourself? That is always free, you do not need any credits for that.

Is there a free plan to try it out?
Yes. With our Free plan you can test the builder with no obligation, at no cost and without a subscription. You receive 250 free credits once and can use them to create and edit a website. Publishing the website is not possible with the Free plan; for that you need the Starter or Pro plan. To get started, a simple registration at baukasten.hostworld.de is enough.
How many websites can I create, and how many subpages?
In the Starter plan you run up to 3 websites at the same time, in the Pro plan as many as you like. The number of subpages within a website is unlimited in both plans, so you can create a home page, services, references, team, contact, legal notice and privacy policy and add more at any time.
What kind of websites can I create?
With our builder you can create any kind of static website, whether you are a hairdresser, a gym, a roofer or an IT entrepreneur. The AI designs your website according to your wishes and ideas.
How do I publish my website?
In the Starter plan, you upload your website directly to your web space at hostworld.de with one click on “Publish”, and the connection is made automatically. In the Pro plan, you can additionally download your website as a ZIP file or upload it via FTP or SFTP to any other web server.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You can use any domain you have registered with us or transferred to us. You can register new domains conveniently in our domain shop.
What are credits and what are they used for?
Credits are the balance in your builder. Every time you ask the AI for something, for example to create a website or rewrite text, credits are used. Each request costs 50 credits, each automatically created image an additional 8 credits. A completely new website costs about 100 credits on average. Editing text and images yourself is always free.
What happens when my credits are used up?
When your credits are used up, you cannot have new content created by the AI for the time being. But you can buy new credits directly in the builder at any time, switch to the Pro plan or simply wait for the next month, when your credits are automatically topped up again.
Can I buy additional credits without changing my plan?
Yes. You can buy additional credits directly in the builder at any time without having to change your plan. At the start of each month you also automatically receive new credits, depending on which plan you have booked.
What is the difference between the Free, Starter and Pro plans?
The Free plan is meant for testing with no obligation: you receive 250 free credits once and can try out the builder at your leisure, but publishing a website is not possible with it. The Starter plan is suitable for getting started: 500 credits per month, up to 3 websites with any number of subpages, your own domain, email mailboxes and everything you need to go online. The Pro plan is for everyone who wants more: 1,500 credits, unlimited websites and the option to transfer the finished website to another provider or download it as a file.
Can I adjust my website without credits?
Yes, you can. Once your website has been created, you can change text and images directly in the builder, without any credits. Credits are only used when you ask the AI for something, e.g. to create new content or redesign the website.
Can I upload and use existing content?
Yes. You can upload your own photos and images and build them directly into your website. Your own text can also be easily inserted or edited.
Do I own the website that was created?
Yes, completely. You receive full ownership of the code of your generated website.
Can I also create dynamic websites, shops or apps?
The builder creates classic business websites, for example for tradespeople, service providers, restaurants or medical practices. An online shop or an app is currently not possible with it. The websites created do, however, work flawlessly on all devices, whether smartphone, tablet or computer.
What is the difference to WordPress hosting?
The AI website builder is ideal if you want to create a finished website without technical knowledge: fast, simple and without a learning curve. WordPress is a different system that offers more options but also requires more training. If you simply want to be online, the builder is the easier choice.
Is the contact form GDPR-compliant?
Since your website is hosted on German servers and the contact form does not forward any data abroad, privacy-compliant use is possible. Please add a privacy policy to your website; this is required by law and easy to add in the builder.
Do I need a cookie banner, and is one included?
As soon as you use visitor statistics or advertising integrations, you need a cookie banner. It is included in the Starter and Pro plans and can be switched on directly in the builder. If you do without statistics, you do not need it; your website then sets no cookies that require consent.
Can I cancel or change my plan at any time?
An upgrade is possible immediately at any time. Both plans are cancelable monthly with a notice period of 7 days, with no minimum term or hidden cancellation fees.
