Every server comes with an IPv4 address and its own IPv6 network. You set the reverse entry yourself, which is often decisive for sending mail.

Which VPS suits Hermes Agent?
VPS Solo is a starting point for one agent with smaller tasks. VPS Plus gives you more headroom when browser tools and multiple processes run together. For larger installations, we can help you choose a plan. This recommendation assumes an external AI model.
Is the application preinstalled?
No. You receive a VPS and install the application yourself using the official instructions. This requires Linux and server administration knowledge. Our support helps with VPS questions. Setting up and maintaining your AI assistant is not included in the plan.
What additional costs should I expect?
You need suitable access to a supported AI provider for the model. Depending on the provider, usage or subscription charges apply. Additional tools may also have fees. These services are billed directly by their respective providers.
Does all data stay in Germany?
Your VPS is located in Germany. If you connect an external AI provider or other services, content may be processed there. The data transmitted and its processing location depend on your settings and chosen providers.
Can I run the AI model directly on the VPS?
Our plan recommendation is for the assistant using an external AI model. Running a model locally requires a separate assessment of memory and, where needed, GPU resources. The plans shown do not include a GPU.
How do I secure my assistant?
Only grant access needed for its tasks. Protect administration interfaces, keep the application updated and use isolated execution environments where possible. Review results and require confirmation for important actions.
Are backups included?
Snapshots are included. They help capture the server state before a change, but do not replace a separate backup. Back up configuration, saved workflows and other important data to an independent destination.
